The 3M Aqua-Pure Whole House Large Diameter Stainless Steel Water Filter Housing SS4 EPE-316L along with a number of cartridge options, can filter all incoming water for your home or light commercial application. This means that the housing design allows for use on both chlorinated (municipal) and non-chlorinated (well water) systems. In addition, the SS4 EPE-316L housing provides unrestricted flow up to 8 gpm/30.3 lpm with 1.5" male NPT inlet/outlet plumbing connections.
The stainless steel housing assembly with 1.5" NPT vertical inlet/outlet connections helps provide flow rates up to 32 gallons per minute/121.1 liters per minute (lpm) to meet the needs of most residential and light commercial applications. When it comes to installation, the 316L stainless steel head and sump is made from a corrosion resistant material.In addition, this stainless steel housing accepts 4 double open ended style cartridges such as: AP110, AP124, AP117 or the AP420. Once installed, these reduce sediment, scale and chlorine taste and odor.
